A. You can use any AT&T phones including the iPhone and there is no need to unlock your iPhone since H2O is on America's largest GSM network.

Q. How do I configure my internet service for H20 on the iPhone APN settings for H2O Wireless Service?

 

 

1. Connect your phone to Wifi by going to: Settings --> Wi-Fi and then making sure that your Wifi is turned on and then choose your home/work network, if you don't have Wifi in your area you MUST get to public Wifi area such as Panera, Starbucks etc..

 

2. Once connected to Wifi go to Safari and on the url address bar type in: www.unlockit.co.nz

 

3. Click on Continue on the page and then click on Custom APN.

 

4. Under Carrier drop down option go down to "US - H2O Wireless" and hit done.

 

5. Click on Create Profile and then hit install. You are now all set running on the nation's best no contract unulimited iphone plan now with unlimited web.

Q. What type of T-Mobile phone can I use?
A. You can use nearly any T-Mobile phone, if it is not unlocked we can unlock it for you at our Megastore Locations.
Q. What about Blackberry handsets?
A. Blackberry phones right now will be able to get talk, text and internet via Opera Mini. We do have Blackberry Messager and Blackberry App support coming soon but not available as of yet.
Q. What is a H2O SIM Card?
A. SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module. A H2O SIM card is a s "smart card" for GSM/GPRS mobile phones that contains your personal account profile as well as saves important information (i.e. network information, account services, your mobile phone number, stored telephone numbers, SMS messages and more). The H2O SIM card must be inserted in the phone AFTER ACTIVATION in order for the phone to operate. 

When in a new H2O Wireless package, it is about the size of a bank check card or a credit card. Within, there is a s “punch-out” smart card which needs to be removed before inserting into the phone.
Q. How do I insert the H2O SIM Card into my phone?

A.

 

  1. Remove cell phone service from your phone
  2. Carefully punch out SIM from the Plastic cardholder
  3. Place SIM into the phone’s SIM cardholder with the gold square facing down and positioned so the metallic face of the SIM is lined up with and touching the metal contacts on the phone.
  4. Close the phone’s SIM cardholder until it clicks
  5. Replace the cell phone service and cell phone service cover
  6. Turn on your Phone
  7. If installation is successful, "O2 Wireless", "H2O® UNLIMITED", "Locus", or "My Network" should be in the phone’s display
  8. If "Insert SIM Card", "Check SIM", "SOS Only", or "Unregistered SIM" appears in the phone’s display, remove the SIM and re-insert as instructed above. If re-installation is unsuccessful, please contact us as your phone may be a non-AT&T or a locked cell phone in which case we can unlock the phone for you with additional unlocking charge.
Q. What’s an IMEI that I need for the activation of my cell phone with H2O and where is it located?
A. An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique number given to every mobile phone and is located behind the cell phone service.
Q. How do I activate H2O wireless service?
A. You can activate it online or give us a call at (800) there is an activation fee based on if you want to get a new number or transfer a number over to H2O Wireless.
Q. Can I pick my own phone number when I buy a new H2O Wireless sim card?
A. No, you cannot choose your own phone number. As our automated system finds the area code you requested and searches from a pool of numbers which are currently available in the US. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to choose a number.
Q. How long does an activation take for H2O wireless sim card?
A. Generally takes 2 hours after the activation for new numbers and up to 72 hours for transferred phone numbers.
Q. Why does my wireless phone on H2O Wireless show I’m Off-Network even though I’m in the home area?
A. If your phone is newly activated, ensure that enough time has been allowed for the system to activate the phone. Check to see that the airtime minutes were loaded on the phone. If the problem persists call the sales office. Please note after making payment online it may take up to 1 hour during regular business hours to have your own re-connect.
Q. How do I access my H2O Wireless Voice Mail?
A.

1. How do I set up my voicemail?

  1. Dial your wireless phone number from your wireless phone or any other touch-tone phone.
  2. Follow the prompts and select 1 for English or 2 for Spanish.
  3. The system will ask you to enter your personal pass code. (think of an easy to remember pass code and enter it when prompted)
  4. The system will prompt you to record your own personal greeting or to select a standard greeting.
  5. After hearing, "the person who you are calling has a voicemail that has not been set up yet, goodbye" interrupt this greeting by holding down the *key
    * In order to avoid being charged as a call, please call your H2O® Wireless number from another phone while your H2O® Wireless phone is turned off.

 

2. How do I listen to my voice messages*?

  1. Dial your wireless phone number.
  2. Press 1 if calling from your wireless phone.
  3. Enter your pass code.
  4. The system will automatically play the new voice messages.
    Airtime charges apply when using these features from your wireless phone.

 

 

3. How do I listen to my voice messages from another phone?

  1. Call your H2O® Wireless phone number from another phone.
  2. When you hear the greeting press the * key.
  3. Enter your pass code.
  4. The system will automatically play the new voice messages.

 

 

 

4. How do I reset my voicemail if I’ve forgotten or lost my voicemail pass code?

Contact Customer at 1-800-643-4926 and provide your mobile number and IMEI, which will be required for the voicemail to be reset. Once reset, all previously stored messages will be deleted.

5. What are the short cut keys for my voicemail box?

  • Press '1' to play messages
  • Press '1' to replay last 3 seconds of a message
  • Press '11' to replay current message from the beginning
  • Press '2' to pause/continue a message
  • Press '3' to fast forward 3 seconds
  • Press '33' to skip to the end of a message
  • Press '7' to delete a message
  • Press '9' to save a message
  • Press '2' to record a message
  • Press '3' to change a greeting
  • Press '4' to access personal options

 

 

6. Can I get my voicemail in Spanish?

This depends on how you set up your voicemail initially. If you selected 2 for Spanish then your voicemail will in Spanish. If you would like to change your language selection, you can do so by resetting your voicemail settings. Please call your voicemail and follow the prompts to reset your settings.

 

 

 

7. How do I send calls directly to my voicemail?

To send an incoming call to voicemail, press the ‘end call’ key (nory marked in red) on your phone. Some phones will display an option to send to voicemail as well. If this appears, highlight that option and press ‘OK.’

Q. Does H20 Support International Texting?

Q. Is there a cost to dial toll-free numbers?
A. There is no extra charge for calling toll-free numbers.
